Following is a preliminary overview of what a wedding experience at Birdwood Mansion will entail upon its debut in the fall.
The Mansion
A two-story brick home, initially constructed between 1819 and 1830, Birdwood Mansion will provide an exclusive, fully-private venue that can be booked for nuptials and related pre- and post-wedding celebrations. The Mansion will serve as a photogenic setting with resplendent architectural charms including a monumental entrance portico with Doric columns, preserved interior woodworks, and fireplaces. An elegant private parlor and beautiful dining room will set the stage for standing cocktail hour receptions, rehearsal dinners, formal sit-down meals, and other gatherings.
Alongside the celebrations, the Mansion will offer seven individually curated accommodations—including four guest rooms in the main house and three adjacent cottages—for stays as well as private use of the parlor, dining room, and pool, offering guests white glove service and luxury amenities they would expect from an exclusive high-end hotel. With these charming accommodations being idyllic for couples-to-be-married and their wedding parties, the neighboring Boar's Head Resort will provide the convenience of additional lodging for extended guests.
