As we prepare to reopen Birdwood Mansion, we would be honored to have our Birdwood Descendants Council members be part of the finishing touches. To mark this special moment, we are welcoming descendants of the enslaved people who lived and worked on the estate for a tour of the newly rehabilitated mansion and a special dinner recognizing the lives and labor that are part of this property’s history.

The Evening's Itinerary

5 p.m. -- Arrival and check-in (self-guided tour of the house and grounds).

5:45 p.m. -- Meet in the Oval Lawn for a musical performance.

6 p.m. -- Transition to The Dining Room for opening remarks and dinner service.

7:30 p.m. -- Conclusion of dinner.

7:45 p.m. -- Closing musical performance in the East Parlor.

8 p.m. -- The evening concludes.
